Wow, a lot has happened...

Since my last post, I've left Afghanistan. I was medically evacuated back to Germany, where I spent two weeks in the hospital. Then I returned to duty at my Ramstein office, rather than going back to Afghanistan. I'm feeling better now than I was when I left Afghanistan. Besides that, I don't want to talk about it.

Vanessa and Aurora returned to Germany early to be with me. Aurora had changed so much over themonths I was gone...even more than when I saw her after training. She's all grown and well onto her way of becoming the young lady she is going to grow up to be.

I didn't take any photos in Afghanistan (because it was much the same as last time (visually anyway) and therefore I didn't feel the need to see the same thing twice). However, since my return, I have been taking photos of Vanessa and Aurora to document our lives together. So I will post some in the coming days.

Halloween just happened, so there will be some from that, and of course...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AURORA!
Yesterday was her FIRST birthday!!! So, we had a little party at the house. We had some friends over, but not many, and the grandparents - both sets - were with us online to participate in the festivities.
There are some funny photos, but they are all cute!

So that's what's been going on. I'm back, and hopefully, better able to start writing in my blog once more.
