The Leg - FINALLY!

Okay, okay. I get it.

My leg is fine. Just like I've been saying. The doctor looked at the X-ray and saw that there is nothing wrong with my leg. He did notice "an anomoly (sp?)" in my thigh, meaning at one point, there could have been damage, but it healed itself correctly if there was.
SO, I'm fine. My leg is good to go, it just feels a little light pain in the Winter, maybe because of an old injury, or maybe just because I don't like the cold.

Now for my calf, it still lookes like noodles.

It's been 7 days, and I have done great on my New Year's Resolution. I only broke it once, and only for about three seconds. So, I'm back on the wagon.
For any of you who haven't faltered, congratulations! You've gone a whole week. Keep it up.

Here's Hoping.

What Does It Mean?

Love is a very tricky emotion.

It makes people act in ways they would rarely act if they weren't "in Love."
Men, who are ordinarily strong, can lower their defenses, and become babbling fools for Love.
At the same time, Women who are passive, can become empowered, when they feel Loved.
And Vice-Versa.

Love can inspire artists to create, or cause the ruination of an empire.
Love can open your eyes to a world you never knew existed, or it can pull the wool over your eyes.
Love can make the world go around, or cause time to seem to stop - an eternity in a moment.

There are those who say that Love does not exist. That it is a word made up to describe a chemical reaction in the brain caused by physical and emotional synapses firing when one person becomes codependent on another. Others say that Love is a feeling made up by the Halmark and Hershey's corporations, to sell greeting cards and chocolates on holidays and anniversaries.

I'm no expert on Love, I've been in only a few relationships over the course of my life. But I have felt Love, and I know what Love means to me. Rather than write the definition, which is infanately long, and personal - I will write that Love, with the Capital "L" is one of the most powerful emotions that exists. I know, becuase I feel it. I have felt it in the past, I feel it now, and I will continue to feel it in the future.

In the darkest moments of my life, Love has rescued me.
In stormy times, Love has been my anchor.
In times of Doubt, Love ha sbeen there to see me through.
And, in times of fear, Love has held me close, and seen me through.

I also know the pain of losing Love. A pure pain, one that cuts deeply into the soul. A crushing despair, that something that was once so much a part of your life, is gone. I know this feeling, as do MANY others. Yet, still, I dare to Love, knowing the feeling can be found again, if only you will allow it back into your life. I know this, because Love has found me, when I thought all hope was lost.

I do not question Love, I accept it. I do not use the term loosly, so that when I do, it is a powerful statement. I do not surrender Love without a fight, rather, I will fight until the death for it, and the ones I Love.

Love doesn't give up, so why should I?

I cannot yell at Love. I cannot fight with it, or try to hurt it. It is always painful if I do so without intent. Perhaps, sometimes, I should, but Love overwhelms. It causes clouds to have their silver lining, and storms to yield to rainbows. Love is what makes good things possible, even when life seems so hopeless.

What does it mean?

Love, simply is...Love.

Undaunted.
Unyielding.
Unstoppable.

Love is, and always will be.

I Love, and I am Loved.

I Love.
I Love.

Through anything, and through everything.

I Love You...

Vanessa.
