Back...but not for long

Vanessa is home again, and it is great to have her back! Unfortunately, the day after she returned, I had to leave for a week to attend training. But, nowI'm back...but not for long. I will soon be leaving again, and for another week. This time I'm headed to "The Dark Continent," which will mean I have set foot on four of the five continents. I think I can leave out Antarctica, because I'm in no hurry to go somewhere that cold, and I've seen penguins at the zoo.

Nothing much new to report...Aurora is growing fastandfine. We will get to see heragain on Thursday for another ultrasound. This one should be very clear, and she'll look like a real person...a teeeeeeny one, but a person, rather than a mix of human features and other curious shapes.

Yeah Yeah, I Know...

Rather than give excuses as to why I haven't posted in forever, I'm just going to start writing.

Things that have been on my mind lately (in no particular order):

being the best husband I can be, parenthood, work, unemployment, home, away, parenthood, the moon, life, past experiences, moving on, holding on, parenthood, the color pink, what I want to do, what others want from me, what God wants from me, parenthood, money, not having enough money, losing touch, salads vs. steaks, and parenthood.

Vanessa has gone home to be with her family. They recently suffered a loss. She is holding up well, still,I hate not being able to be there with her and for her.

I just returned from Croatia. I went for the weekend to film some Airmen renovating a hospital.
