Make Someone's Day Today

Yesterday, I was walking to work from about a mile away, in the rain, when a soldier stopped his vehicle and asked me if I needed a ride. It surprised me at first, as no one here is usually that nice. So I got in, and he took me as far as he could. While I was in the truck, he and I talked a little about the weather, and I noticed he spoke with an accent, so when he dropped me off, I said "Thank you" in German. He replied back in German, and Spanish, so I said again my thank you's in Spanish. Still, I figured out he wasn't German by the way he responded, so as he started to drive away, I said, "Da-svi-da-niya," which means goodbye in Russian. He stopped the car, and was excited that I spoke Russian. He waved, and said, "Vy gavareeteh pa ru-sky?" Which I know means, "Do you speak Russian?" I smiled and waved as he drove away.

That's all it took to make two people's days.
1. He gave me a ride in the rain.
2. I spoke his naitive language (if even only a word or two).

Here's your challenge: Make someone's day today. Do something nice for a complete stranger, with no expectations on getting anything in return. I doubt the Russian Soldier thought I knew a little Russian, so he expected nothing back from his kind gesture of a ride out of the rain.
