Four-day weekend

This weekend was great. Just lounging around the house mostly. We did some grocery shopping, laundry, cleaned the house, and I packed up some of my stuff from Vanessa's house and moved it into my dorm room. It's sad to think that I'll be leaving here in a month's time.

On the plus side, I just found out that my headquarters in Texas is doing what they can to let me stay here in Japan until it comes time to go to D.C. for the advanced broadcaster course.

Vanessa got a call from an Air Force recruiter in Kansas this morning (at 3 a.m.). He told her that the Air Force is VERY desperate for broadcasters (something I personally know to be true) but she may lose rank in the process, but it would help us stay together.

I have another day off tomorrow. I like 4-day weekends/weeks.
