What to say? What. To. Say? There has been a lot going on, and there are some tings I want to share, but feel that doing so at this time would invite more trouble than they're worth. Those that know, can understand my concerns.

HOME:
Things quieted down for a while. Vanessa and I returned to our house, and our calm little lives. We spend time with the few friends we have still here, hang out alone together, and generally have a good time.
We're reading "The Love Dare" during Lent. It's a 40-day book that takes time to focus on your marriage. Many of the things it discusses, we already do (we're a new couple, so it's expected), but there are still a lot of lessons we're taking to heart. It's leading us to spend a lot more time looking inward. We're also spending a lot of time together - partially because we really grew closer during and after the vacation, and for other reasons that I will mention in future posts. For now, we are happy, and looking forward to the future.
Things are getting back to normal at work. My first few weeks were rough going (getting thrown back into the fire of news, a p.t. test my first week back, and some of the politics. It's not hard work, I was just gone for a while, and it took some getting used to. Now that it has been a while, I'm more comfortable with the day-to-day.
I joined my office Volleyball team. We've played 4 games, and one 1. We're not bad, per se, just inexperienced.
The travel season is here. I can expect to start heading out all over Europe again. I can't really say when I'm going somewhere, but I'll let you know when I'm there, and/or when I get back. Don't worry, it's not like the last little trip I took...more like week-long jaunts. They're pretty fun. Busy, but fun.

I'm excited that one of the people most important to us, a Friend & family member, will be returning to Germany soon. We've really missed her, and can't wait to start doing things together again.

That's about it for this post...I know there are a lot of unanswered questions...and things I should write that I haven't. Let me get to them when I feel the time is right. Until then, I'm back, and hopefully, more often than not.
