The land of fire and ice...

I'm in Iceland.
Yes. Iceland.

The weather is crisp and cold (like an Indiana November), but the views are breathtaking. I saw blue water (blue like the crayon, not like the blue-green you typically think of when you see the ocean in America - I'm told it's because of the Arctic ice melts that don't have any impurities), mountains, and even a glacier. I will try to get some photos while I'm here, and post them in a later update.

I'm missing Vanessa again, and I've only really been gone for one day. That says something, right? Only four more befor eI get to see her again, but they will be busy days!

Nothing much else going on right now, I have to work hard this week, and then next week, I'll be out of commission after oral surgery (wisdom teeth are coming out!) for four days.

Hace Frio, mucho frio!!!!!!
Here hace mucho calor!!!!!!! It's been in the 90's for over two weeks, the rain drys up before hitting the ground.

I remember seeing pictures your Grandpa took about 55 years ago. There were some from the ship he was on with ice built up on rails from sea spray. Also many pics of native peoples, but that was Greenland.
